Installation
To enable the subtle watercolor behavior, these brushes have to heavily rely on settings, so they come as a tool preset file instead of the more common brush item. Install it by following these steps: Window → Tool Presets → dropdown menu in the right upper corner of the panel → Load Tool Presets... → find the Live Watercolor.tpl file you downloaded and load it.
If you are using tool presets often, make a back-up of your set before installing these brushes, and never hit the Replace Tool presets... menu item for this purpose.
Tips of use
My personal setting of tip feel is one step lower than the default value. If you are not satisfied with the brush flow, tune it in the Wacom Tablet Properties utility in the Pen tab until you get the feel that suit your pressure manner best. Alternatively, decrease the flow rate of the stroke in the Photoshop tool properties bar.
These brushes work better in build-up mode. This means applying color not by laying down single strokes but by dragging the pen tip across the tablet surface keeping the pressure, as if you use an airbrush when you need to keep a button pressed to paint. This option is included in the brush settings and is on by default.
